Energy Grants for your Home

Grants are available towards the cost of installing solar electric (PV) in your property. The Low Carbon Buildings Programme offers funding as follows:

Technology Grant (whichever is lower)
Solar photovoltaics Maximum of £2,500 or 50% of eligible costs

Note that for solar PV, the maximum grant is available only for larger systems. Also the 'whichever is the lower' rule applies - this means that in effect your grant will be capped at £2,500.
